It holds the topmost position in the global smartphone market by volume with a market share of 22% in Q2 2017. Its shipments recorded an annual marginal growth of 4% during the last quarter. However, the company’s shipments experienced a zero increase and decrease on quarter.

Earlier this week, company reported its Q2 sales had an healthy growth rate due to good iPhone and iPad sales.

Huawei

A Chinese brand holding third position globally, it shipped a record Q2 shipments of 38.4 million units i.e. an increase of 20% annually. Emerging markets contribute a major share to its revenue and hence its financial growth on a global scale.

In its home market, it retained top spot during Q2, leaving behind its rivals Oppo and Vivo. Its Nova and Enjoy series, along with flagship P10 had strong demands during previous quarter.

Oppo

It is fourth-largest brand at global scale. It had a 8.4% market share globally during the quarter. The brand reported an impressive growth in Indian smartphone market, making it a strongest market outside China.

Vivo

It is the fifth-largest brand on global scale, with a 6.6% market share. Similar to Oppo, it too has experienced a strong growth in the Indian market.
