If your heart remains above chosen beat per minute (BPM). You can turn on the notifications easily, open up the watch app on your iphone then tap on my watch and then tap on heart rate and then tap on Elevated heart rate and choose BPM as consulted with your Doctor.

Be Fit and use it wisely for Better Results

Apple watch may sometimes will not give accurate results because of various factors, it may be impossible to get any heart rate reading at all for some users. So you can avoid these things to get accurate reading:

  • If you use apple watch in extreme cold, so skin perfusion in your wrist might be too low for the heart rate sensor to get reading.
  • Having tattoos on skin can also impact rate sensor performance.
  • The factor can be motion i.e rhythmic movements, such as running or cycling give better results as compared to movements in tennis or boxing.

If you are not getting better result, you can connect your apple watch wirelessly through Bluetooth chest straps.
