Samsung has launched much awaited flagship Galaxy S22 series smartphones at its Galaxy Unpacked event. The series includes the Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra. The smartphones are equipped with the latest chipsets and other top notch features. In India, you’ll get all three smartphones running on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor instead of Exynos. Specifications of Samsung Galaxy S22:
Samsung Galaxy S22 runs on Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top.
The dimensions of the phone are 146×70.6×7.6mm and the weight is 168 grams.
The smartphone flaunts a 6.1-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The display also comes with Samsung’s Eye Comfort Shield for blue light control and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate that can go as low as 10Hz. Galaxy S22 measures 1300 nits maximum brightness.
The phone got the protection of with Gorilla Glass Victus+, while the chassis is protected with armored aluminum. It also has IP68 water rating.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 is powered by an octa-core 4nm chip paired with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S22 offers up to 128 GB and 256GB of onboard storage.

The peak brightness on this smartphone is 1,750 nits. The display of the Galaxy S22 Ultra is also equipped with updated Wacom technology to support improved performance of the S Pen, including low latency.
The phone is equipped with an octa-core 4nm chip, which is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The phone comes in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options.

Samsung gets its 2.4um pixel sensor which “Nitography” claims good photography even in low light.

The Galaxy S22 starts at $799.99 (approximately INR 59,900) while the Galaxy S22+ starts at $999.99 (approximately INR 74,800). The starting price of Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is $ 1,199 (about INR 89,700). The company says that the Galaxy S22 series smartphone will be available for sale from February 25.
