The Shenzhen company has already launched these true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones in China. OnePlus has yet to discuss the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 pricing and other details in India. However, a trustworthy source has revealed some key details about the upcoming TWS earphones. They are said to have three noise-reducing microphones for environmental noise cancellation (ENC).
In terms of battery life, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 could provide up to 39 hours of playtime when paired with the charging case. These TWS earphones should support Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity. According to OnePlus, these upcoming earphones will support Google’s Spatial Audio technology for Android 13.
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 price in India is still unknown. They were released in China earlier this month, priced at CNY 899. (roughly Rs. 11,000). They are compatible with Qi wireless charging. Furthermore, these TWS earphones are dust and water resistant to IP55 standards. They also support the audio codecs LHDC, AAC, SBC, and LC3.
Users of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 can choose between several EQ settings, including Default, Bold, Serenade, and Bass. Dynaudio has co-tuned these EQ options. When OnePlus hosts the Cloud 11 launch event on February 7, we can expect to learn all about the pricing and specifications.
OnePlus will also launch new smart TV
The OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro will be an upgraded version of the 55-inch Q1 Pro, which was released in India and other markets in 2019. The upcoming version of the flagship OnePlus smart TV is expected to have minor design changes over the current model. According to the teaser on the microsite, the Q2 Pro still has a sound bar at the bottom edge. The original model included a retractable sound bar that hid behind the screen when the TV was turned off. It is unclear whether the Q2 Pro will continue to receive support for the same.
Another standout feature is the sound quality. The OnePlus Q2 Pro smart TV will feature Dynaudio-tuned speakers. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because OnePlus collaborated with the Danish company on the Buds Pro 2 TWS. Its sister company, OPPO, has also previously launched a few products that have been tuned in collaboration with Dynaudio.
There will also be a central dock stand. Users should be able to wall-mount their Q2 Pro TV as an alternative, as expected.
OnePlus has not revealed any additional information about the TV. A recent report, however, confirmed that the 65-inch display will support up to 4K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. There should also be HDR10+ and possibly Dolby Vision support. We can also expect the upcoming Q2 Pro to include display features such as MEMC.
According to the report, the OnePlus premium smart TV will have a 70W speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support. In comparison, the 55-inch model released in 2019 featured a 50W speaker setup. The smart television will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
In terms of price, we can expect the OnePlus Smart TV to cost at least Rs 60,000. This is due to the increase in screen size and internals over the previous 55-inch model, which is currently available on the official website for around Rs 59,000. The official pricing and sale details will not be available until February 7th.
